Harvard Weighs All Year B School
CHANGE IS AFOOT AT HARvard business school. HBS, fifth in BUSINESS WEEK's recent ranking of MBA programs, is considering moving to year-round operation, offering students the option of earning a degree in 16 months instead of two years. First revealed in The Harbus News, the school's student newspaper, a faculty committee has recommended that the school enter students in September, January, and May, enabling class sections to be cut to 80 from 90. The plan was released to the faculty on Oct. 14.
