Sept. 7, 1929. Herbert Hoover was President. Babe Ruth had just hit his 46th home run of the year. And the Roaring Twenties were about to end in a market crash and the Great Depression. On that day 65 years ago, the first issue of a magazine called The Business Week was published. Hardly an auspicious time to start a business magazine.
