The review of Bennett Harrison's Lean and Mean ("Who says big companies are dinosaurs?" Books, July 25) reported that among the 245,000 businesses begun in 1985, 75% of the employment gains made by 1988 occurred in just 735 companies, or 0.003% of the group. The correct percentage is 0.3%.
