The trade deficit for goods and services probably narrowed to $8.3 billion in March, from $9.7 billion in February, say the MMS economists. For goods alone, an expected rise in exports and a drop in imports mean a merchandise trade deficit of $11 billion in March, from $13.9 billion in February.
