PRESIDENT CLINTON SAYS his health-care reform plan keeps a place for insurance agents. At Bill Clinton's Apr. 5 televised town hall meeting, an agent from Rural Retreat, Va., asked: "What's in store for people like myself?" He pointed out that small businesses and individuals rely on agents to handle their insurance problems. The President's reply: "Well, they would still be able to buy their insurance from you, because we don't propose to abolish private health insurance."
