The MMS economists forecast nonfarm payrolls to post a 225,000 increase in March, following a 217,000 gain in February. The most optimistic forecast calls for 300,000 new jobs. The March unemployment rate likely held steady at February's 6.5%, which was down from January's 6.7% reading.
