Investment Figures Of The Week

COMMENTARY
An unsettling week in the financial markets. Inflation worries pummeled the
bond market, and the ripple effect extended into stocks, particularly blue
chips. The Dow Jones industrial average fell on Dec. 14 and 15, with the
malaise on the second day helped along by a sharp drop in Eastman Kodak. The
sell-off was accompanied by a surge in bearish sentiment, with the put-call
ratio sentiment indicator moving more strongly into positive territory. So the
      decline may well be short-lived.
