The Second Half Sparks Could Fly Into '94

Weak first half, strong second half. Sound familiar? If it does, don't worry. You have good reason to feel a strong sense of d j vu about the 1993 economy compared to the 1992 version. This time, however, the second-half pickup reflects broad improvement in the fundamental forces that drive growth. That means chances are good that the economy will maintain a healthy pace right into 1994.
