Elizabeth G. Lof would like to shed a few pounds, but this time, she won't sweat it. In the past, Lof, 45, a secretary in a Denver museum, combined water aerobics and strenuous dieting to lose weight. Now, she says, she plans to eat sensibly and go for long walks. Her goal is more modest, too: A size 14 now, she'll settle for a 12, not the 8 she once dreamed of. "I don't see myself as a hard body," she says. "It's O. K. to be a little fluffy."
