Perot's Economic Pill Might Not Be All That Bitter

If foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, Ross Perot doesn't have anything to be embarrassed about. The on-again, off-again Presidential candidate seems determined to prove that he is not governed by the rules of politics or those of any known planet. Indeed, just two things seem certain about his anti-campaign: Perot's name will appear on ballots in all 50 states, and Perot's program for wiping out the federal budget deficit will get lots of attention in the closing weeks of the campaign.
