Investment Figures Of The Week

Stocks gave up most of the gains they had achieved so far this year, as 
      investors remained queasy about interest rates. The Dow Jones industrial 
      average rose 16 points on Mar. 10 after four straight days of declines. But 
      the Dow fell 22 points the following day, after President Bush said that he 
      was more concerned with stimulating the economy than pushing rates down. In 
      the weekly auction on Mar. 9, rates of three- and six-month Treasury bills 
      rose to their highest levels since mid-December.
