Safe, Staid Volvo May Soon Be Burning Rubber

A number of smart-money players who want to ride autos once the economy revs up are particularly hot on one giant. General Motors? No way. The pick is Volvo, the Swedish car and truck maker whose stock has climbed from 35 per ADR (American Depositary Receipt) in early 1991 to 60 recently. Shares of GM, Ford, and Chrysler are all still down from their 1991 highs.
