Banking From Home, At&T Style

Dozens of attempts to get consumers to bank and shop using home terminals have flopped, but AT&T executives claim that they've finally found a winning combination. In an Oct. 2 interview, AT&T Network Systems Vice-President Philip Wilkinson said AT&T hopes to take in roughly $500 million a year by 1995 from sales of home terminals and interacting computer systems as well as from increased use of the AT&T network for long-distance transactions.
