Meet Du Pont's `In House Conscience'Joseph Weber
Faith A. Wohl doesn't come across as an agitator. The gracious, gray-haired Du Pont Co. executive is a 55-year-old grandmother of six (soon to be seven) whose idea of relaxation is grocery shopping and visits to the library on weekends. Wohl is also a passionate advocate of pro-family policies -- and Du Pont's "in-house conscience," says Nicholas Pappas, a recently retired executive vice-president. Under her prodding, once-staid Du Pont is turning into a corporate ground-breaker that helps its employees balance family life andcareers.
