Family Leave Should Get The Nod
When it comes to vetoes, President Bush has a stunning record. He has wielded his club almost two dozen times and hasn't been defeated once. But Democratic lawmakers think they may be able to break his streak later this summer on an issue they reckon has wide voter appeal: family leave. On both political and policy grounds, the President would be wise not to test his opponents on this issue.
