For people who have to watch their fat--the fat content of what they eat, that is--Houston's Granada Foods Corp. has a welcome treat: beef. The company is marketing 96% fat-free beef cuts that are just as effective in reducing cholesterol as fish or chicken. That benefit was demonstrated in a recent study of almost-fat-free beef conducted jointly by health and nutrition experts at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and at Texas A&M University.
