The ultimate value of restricted-share bonuses depends on the stock’s price when it can be sold. Below is the average realized value for bonuses granted annually from 2008 to 2023. The analysis assumes grants of $100,000 made on Jan. 1 that then vested by thirds on the next three anniversaries
