A juicy public spat has broken out this year between Viacom's leadership and the Redstone family that controls the media company. CEO Philippe Dauman -- whom they're slowly forcing out -- is trying to sell a piece of Viacom's Paramount Pictures movie studio in a deal that would appear to be against the wishes of billionaire Sumner Redstone. However, Shari Redstone, who has stepped into her elderly (and ailing) father's shoes, may be working toward her own plan for Viacom that would be much more exciting for shareholders.
