My software version shows invalid date, what does this mean?

Historically the Bloomberg Terminal version has been a number that resembled a date, e.g. 03/08/2020 represented a version that was released in March. This format was updated in November 2020 to reflect a major.minor version number. In the interim, there may still be date formats displayed in UPGR. This is normal and reflects a valid Terminal software version. Other Bloomberg components will still be displayed in the Date Format. More information can be found on our Release Notes page.
