As the demand for sustainability information continues to increase, influential organizations like the Financial Stability Board (FSB) have established specific initiatives on sustainability related financial disclosures, even the SEC’s recent public comment period on Reg S-K specifically called for stakeholders to comment on “…the importance of sustainability…”.
These converging developments create the need for publicly traded companies to fully understand and strategically manage the disclosure and management of a new set of performance metrics. It also requires a new level of collaboration among internal departments, such as, Corporate Counsel/Corporate Secretary, CFO/Investor Relations, Environment, Health & Safety and Facilities and Human Resources.
We’ll focus on helping corporate practitioners understand the latest market developments, as well as provide practical and actionable guidance on how to prepare and disclose such voluntary information.
