Bloomberg News was named\u00a0‘News Agency of the Year’ for the first time, beating out both local and international competition.\u00a0Bloomberg finished top of Hallvarsson & Hallvarsson’s annual rankings, based on surveys of\u00a0financial markets professionals.<\/p>\n

“The results of this year’s survey shows that competition among financial journalists is\u00a0razor sharp and financial market participants require both intelligent analysis and timely reporting,” said Weje Sanden, Chairman of the Award Committee and Partner at Hallvarsson & Halvarsson.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”21210″ alignment=”center”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Bloomberg News beat out 19-time winner Nyhetsbyraan Direkt, Thomson Reuters, Dow Jones Newswires and several local Swedish agencies. Kim McLaughlin accepted the award on behalf of Bloomberg at a ceremony at The Opera Terrace in Stockholm.<\/p>\n
