[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]On May 31, Bloomberg launched its newest podcast,\u00a0Material World<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>which\u00a0focuses on the consumer universe and digs, “into the stories behind the things you buy.”<\/p>\n

The inaugural episode, “Craft is Dead, Long Live Craft,” examines the\u00a0consumer demand for limited run items created by artisans, including craft beer and small batch ice cream.\u00a0The broad appeal of\u00a0smaller craft producers to consumers is impacting\u00a0large conglomerates and small, local businesses.<\/p>\n

The bi-weekly show examines the universe of consumer goods\u00a0with\u00a0Bloomberg Retail Reporter Lindsey Rupp and Bloomberg Beverage, Tobacco and Cannabis reporter Jennifer Kaplan.<\/p>\n

The second\u00a0episode of \u201cMaterial World\u201d will be available June 14, 2016.
