It’s an industry steeped in controversy, attacked as ‘outdated’ and ‘barbaric’ by opponents but lauded as an economic and health boon by its proponents. Whaling – it’s back on the agenda in Iceland, one of only 3 countries in the world to commercially hunt the ocean-dwelling mammals.
