Bloomberg Television announced that Alix Steel has been named co-host of Bloomberg <GO>, joining David Westin and Jonathan Ferro daily from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. EDT.

“Alix has the global markets and commodities experience to enhance our coverage for a global audience,” said Al Mayers, Head of Bloomberg TV and Radio. “Global expansion has been a strong focus for Bloomberg Television throughout the past year, and this move will benefit viewers around the world, whether they watch it live or digitally.”

Steel previously covered the global markets, economic news and commodities as anchor of “Bloomberg Markets” and co-anchor of “What’d You Miss?” She has interviewed figures including Congressman Ron Paul, Economists Paul Krugman and Edmund Phelps, investors Jim Rogers, Donald Trump and Steve Forbes, CEO of Continental Resources Harold Hamm and Founder of Chesapeake Energy Tom Ward.
