Halloween Going to the Dogs...and Cats

It's amazing what creative indignities pets are subjected to on Halloween, and what they loyally put up with. Think about how your human best friend would react if you forced him to wear a pumpkin, or tutu and tiara, for an evening. 

Total interspecies Halloween spending -- human, dog, cat and yes, “other” pets -- is expected to reach $6.9 billion this year, according to the National Retail Federation. Fourteen percent of households surveyed intend to include pets in their Halloween spend, to the tune of forking over $330 million for Halloween costumes.
