Harvest Fund, one of China\u2019s largest asset management firms, and Bloomberg announced a collaboration on fixed income index product development. Harvest Fund is the first asset manager based in mainland China to partner with Bloomberg around the Bloomberg Barclays indices.<\/p>\n

Harvest Fund and Bloomberg will be working on index investment strategy research, customized indices and product development using Bloomberg Barclays Indices. This collaboration follows Harvest Fund and Bloomberg\u2019s data and technology strategic partnership inked in October 2018.<\/p>\n

Lei Jing, CEO of Harvest Fund said, \u201cWith the inclusion of RMB-denominated government and policy bank bonds into the Bloomberg Barclays Global Aggregate Index, we expect that investor interest in China\u2019s onshore bond market will correspondingly increase.<\/p>\n

Bloomberg has deep knowledge and experience in fixed income indices and we are delighted to expand our partnership to develop investment products for global investors to tap the burgeoning onshore bond market in China.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAs China\u2019s financial market continues to open up, we expect to see more foreign investors allocating capital in China,\u201d said Bing Li, Head of China at Bloomberg. \u201cThis is an opportune time for domestic asset managers and we are pleased to support them to diversify their product offerings which will lead to growing foreign participation in China\u2019s bond market.
