Magazine bolsters coverage of technology industry with two new
\nreporters <\/p>\n

NEW YORK — Bloomberg Businessweek announced today that Ashlee
\nVance, former New York Times enterprise technology writer, and
\nBrendan Greeley, former technology and policy correspondent at
\nThe Economist, have joined the magazine as staff writers. <\/p>\n

\u201cAshlee and Brendan are incredibly talented reporters with deep
\nknowledge of their industries,\u201d said Editor Josh Tyrangiel. \u201cI\u2019m
\nthrilled to have them join our editorial team.\u201d <\/p>\n

Prior to joining Bloomberg Businessweek, Vance was a reporter
\nfor the New York Times covering enterprise technology. Vance
\njoined The New York Times in 2008 after working for five years
\nas editor of The Register, a British technology Web site. Vance
\nis also the author of Geek Silicon Valley and has written
\nfreelance stories on technology for The Economist. <\/p>\n

Brendan Greeley joins Bloomberg Businessweek from The Economist,
\nwhere he\u2019s spent the past three years as technology and policy
\ncorrespondent. Greeley also launched, edited, and contributed to
\nthe publication\u2019s Babbage blog. Before joining The Economist,
\nGreeley was \u201cblogger in chief\u201d for the Web version of \u201cOpen
\nSource,\u201d the Public Radio International program. <\/p>\n
