Magazine continues to expand global reach with the launch of
\nEuropean and Asian editions <\/p>\n

NEW YORK — Bloomberg Businessweek announced today that it will
\nexpand its reach in Europe and Asia<\/a> with two new regional
\neditions and raise its rate base from 900,000 to 980,000 in
\nearly 2012. Continuing the momentum of strong growth in ad
\nrevenue, paid circulation, and global coverage, the magazine
\nwill leverage Bloomberg\u2019s reach to deliver advertisers an even
\nwider, more global, audience and readers more locally-focused
\ncontent. <\/p>\n

Bloomberg Businessweek has seen a strong pattern of growth since
\nrelaunching in 2010 and the rate base increase and new regional
\neditions further demonstrate its commitment to continued
\ninvestment. The global edition of Bloomberg Businessweek posted
\na 16% increase in advertising pages year-over-year in the first
\nhalf of 2011 (according to the Publishers Information Bureau)
\nand the addition of 37,000 individually paid subscribers in the
\nsecond half of 2010, which was up 7% versus the prior year
\n(according to the Audit Bureau of Circulation). The magazine has
\nalso revitalized local-language editions in Chinese, Thai,
\nIndonesian, Turkish, Arabic, and a new Polish-language edition
\nwill launch later this year. <\/p>\n

The European and Asian editions of Bloomberg Businessweek will
\nfeature content from the global edition of the magazine combined
\nwith some additional regional reporting from more than 800
\nBloomberg reporters in Europe<\/a> and 500 in Asia. <\/p>\n
