Singapore, Hong Kong \u2014 Bloomberg announced today a price
\ndiscovery platform that will bring more transparency to the
\nAsian market for equity linked notes (ELNs). Bloomberg\u2019s system,
\nthe first to consolidate pricing from sell-side firms, will
\nstreamline workflow for private banking desks that represent
\nAsian high-net worth investors.<\/p>\n

The Asian ELN market is growing rapidly, yet there has been no
\ncentralized platform to list, analyze, distribute and share
\ndata, Bloomberg executives say. The new Asian ELN consolidated
\nprice distribution and discovery system makes it easier for
\nsell-side firms to share ELN pricing information with enabled
\nclients. The system helps discern the best price and yield
\npercentages for ELNs at various maturity dates and in multiple
\ncurrencies.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Asian equity linked notes market is becoming more
\nsophisticated and requires a centralized platform to promote
\nfurther growth and transparency,\u201d said Jean-Paul Zammitt<\/a>, Vice-Chairman and Chief Commercial Officer, Bloomberg L.P., which has more than 310,000 subscribers
\nglobally. \u201cNow, execution desks, investment advisors and
\nrelationship managers, will have a comprehensive dashboard to
\neasily compare a full range of instruments and prices,
\nsimplifying their workflow and communications.\u201d<\/p>\n
