LONDON — Bloomberg Sports (BSports), the world leaders in
\nsports analytic technology, today unveiled its purely objective
\nprojections for the 2013\/2014 UEFA Champions League, tipping
\nBarcelona to win the Champions League ahead of Bayern Munich.
\nAlong with this, all England-based teams are projected to
\nqualify from their respective groups, with Chelsea having the
\nbest chances of winning the tournament. <\/p>\n

The projections are available online
\n(www.bsports.com\/ProjectedTablesChampions) alongside updated
\nprojections for Europe\u2019s top five leagues. <\/p>\n

Tournament Winner: Barcelona defy the bookmakers <\/p>\n

These uniquely objective, data-driven projections provide odds
\nfor each team winning the tournament, winning their group and
\nqualifying from their group. They also highlight where
\nbookmakers have either undervalued or overvalued certain teams. <\/p>\n

-Compared to bookmakers, BSports gives Barcelona a better chance
\nto win (21.3%) than Bayern Munich (18.9%). <\/p>\n

-Real Madrid (16.7%) are the most likely team to push Barcelona
\nand Bayern Munich. <\/p>\n

-Chelsea (8.9%) have better odds of winning the Champions League
\nthan both Manchester-based clubs. <\/p>\n

-BSports data indicates Manchester City (7.2%) have a better
\nchance of winning than Manchester United (6.4%). <\/p>\n

Group Stages: English Teams to qualify for Round of 16 <\/p>\n

-Despite David Moyes\u2019 inexperience in the Champions League, Man
\nUtd are favourites to qualify (84.8%) from Group A. They are
\nalso favourites to win the group at 60.9%. <\/p>\n

-In Group F, the so-called \u2018group of death\u2019, little separates
\nArsenal (62.6%) & Dortmund (60.9%) for the top two places. <\/p>\n

-Man City (87.2%) and Bayern Munich (94.9%) are both expected to
\nqualify from Group D, however City\u2019s chances of winning the
\ngroup are almost half Bayern Munich\u2019s, with tougher opponents
\nlikely in the next round. <\/p>\n

-BSports gives Chelsea a better chance (77%) of winning Group E
\ncompared to bookmakers and they are almost odds-on to qualify
\n(95%) from their group. <\/p>\n
