Hong Kong<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 Bloomberg and CTF Life (formerly known as FTLife), a leading life insurance company based in Hong Kong with a 40-year legacy, today announced CTF Life has expanded its use of Bloomberg\u2019s enterprise solutions to include MARS Climate, a solution designed to help firms assess, quantify and manage climate risk and opportunities across portfolios.<\/p>\n

MARS Climate enables users to transparently analyze various climate scenarios based on different integrated assessment models, consistent with the framework set forth by the Network for Greening Financial System (NGFS). MARS Climate\u2019s transition risk model is powered by BloombergNEF\u2019s Transition Risk Assessment Company Tool (TRACT), which projects company revenue risk and opportunities, combining companies\u2019 activities, supply chain exposure and regional footprint under different NGFS climate scenarios.<\/p>\n

CTF Life adopted a number of Bloomberg\u2019s buy-side solutions in 2021 \u2013 including the order and investment management technology solution Bloomberg AIM and the advanced portfolio and risk analytics solution PORT Enterprise. In addition, Bloomberg Enterprise iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) was adopted to automate workflows from front office to middle and back offices, bringing higher operational efficiency for the insurer.<\/p>\n
