The live streaming partnership marks an expansion of Bloomberg\u2019s industry-leading digital video strategy, extending the network\u2019s reach to Twitter\u2019s massive, global and connected audience of over 800M people.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe continue to invest aggressively in innovative distribution models in order to deliver the most critical business and financial news and information to our audience of busy, on-the-go, global executives,\u201d said Bloomberg Media CEO Justin B. Smith. \u201cBy partnering with Twitter, viewers from all over the world will now be able to leverage a powerful, real-time platform to consume and react to the news, accelerating our position as a leader in global business video, and offering new and innovative opportunities for our marketing partners.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTwitter is one of the fastest ways to find out what\u2019s happening in global business and financial markets, and to engage in the live commentary about it,\u201d said Anthony Noto, Twitter\u2019s chief financial officer. &#8220;Partnering with Bloomberg will give people on Twitter the best way to see live financial markets performance combined with the live commentary on the underlying drivers and implications.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>At the outset of the partnership, Twitter will stream three of Bloomberg\u2019s weekday TV shows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cBloomberg West\u201d (M-F 6-7 PM ET \/ 3-4 PM PT): The network\u2019s flagship technology program hosted by Emily Chang, airing live from San Francisco<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;What&#8217;d You Miss?&#8221; (M-F 4-5 PM ET): At the close of the U.S. trading day, Joe Weisenthal takes viewers through the most important stories in global financial markets<\/li>\n<li>\u201cWith All Due Respect\u201d (M-F 5-6 PM ET): Prominent political journalists Mark Halperin and John Heilemann deliver deep expertise and sophisticated analysis of this historic election cycle<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Bloomberg Media is the consumer-facing media organization of Bloomberg LP \u2013 the world\u2019s leading multi-platform media company for business and finance.
