Bloomberg Professional service \u2013 ESG <GO><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Bloomberg recently expanded its offering of ESG (environmental, social, governance) data byincorporating information from RobecoSAM\u2019s percentile rankings on the Bloomberg Professional service at ESG<GO>.<\/p>\n

ESG<GO> is a Bloomberg Terminal function that provides sustainability investors with data about a company\u2019s environmental, social and governance metrics, such as greenhouse gas emissions intensity, resource consumption and workplace diversity. The function provides an overview of a company\u2019s support of sustainability initiatives and ranks its performance to industry peers.<\/p>\n

RobecoSAM is an investment specialist focused exclusively on Sustainability Investing (SI). The percentile rankings of nearly 2000 companies are available at ESG<GO> but will be incorporated into other Bloomberg Professional investment tools on the Bloomberg Professional service in the near-term.<\/p>\n

Barbara Pomfret, ESG Product Manager says that by incorporating RobecoSAM\u2019s rankings data onto the Bloomberg Terminal \u201cBloomberg is supporting investors who see potential in companies that care as much for environmental, social, governance priorities as profit and growth.\u201d<\/p>\n

She adds \u201cRobecoSAM\u2019s ranking on the Bloomberg Terminal will help financial professionals consider relevant ESG data into their decision-making. This provides users with greater transparency around a company\u2019s ESG performance.\u201d<\/p>\n
