World-class Program Draws Upon Roster of Veteran Reporters and Business Leaders<\/em><\/p>\n

Chennai, April 18, 2017 \u2013Bloomberg News and the Asian College of Journalism (\u201cACJ\u201d) today launched India\u2019s first co-branded financial journalism post-graduate program, designed to equip students with new, essential skills needed in a modern global newsroom.<\/p>\n

The \u2018ACJ-Bloomberg Postgraduate Program\u2019 will teach students the latest journalism skills related to writing and editing, digital and multimedia reporting, ethics, investigative reporting, fundamentals of finance and government reporting. Supported by leading financial press such as Mint and The Hindu Business Line, some courses will be led by some of the country\u2019s renowned financial journalists and business leaders.<\/p>\n

John Micklethwait, Editor-in-Chief of Bloomberg, remarked, \u201cWe\u2019re very excited to be launching this wonderful program with India\u2019s most renowned journalism college. ACJ has also appointed Jarshad N.K. as the Dean to oversee this program. Jarshad was formerly Deputy Editor at The Hindu Business Line, India\u2019s leading business and financial newspaper and website, based in Chennai.<\/p>\n
