Bloomberg Chairman Peter Grauer has been recognized this year by two of the top diversity and inclusion rankings by the Financial Times, a testament to his advocacy for an inclusive workplace.<\/p>\n

The Financial Times\/HERoes Champions of Women in Business<\/a> list ranked Grauer #2 among the top global executives championing gender diversity and he was ranked #9 on the Financial Times\/OUTstanding Ally Executives<\/a> list for his work driving LGBTQ inclusion.<\/p>\n

“Peter has always championed diversity here at Bloomberg and beyond, and it’s great to see him recognized for leading inclusion efforts throughout the business community,” said company founder Michael Bloomberg. “Our people are our most important asset, and our entire organization benefits from the diverse and inclusive culture we have long had at Bloomberg.”<\/p>\n

\u201cInclusion isn\u2019t just about how many different types of people we have working at Bloomberg,\u201d Grauer said. \u201cIt\u2019s about how we treat everyone when they\u2019re here. It’s about small acts of understanding, performed every day at every level.\u201d<\/p>\n

The awarding committee for the HERoes recognition described Grauer as a “leading force and champion of diversity and inclusion efforts at Bloomberg, holding the company\u2019s business leaders accountable for the development and execution of business-specific diversity and inclusion plans.\u201d<\/p>\n

Outside of Bloomberg, Grauer is a leading voice for increasing gender diversity on boards as the founding chairman of the U.S. 30% Club<\/a> and has been an active member of the Out Leadership<\/a> global advisory board which aims to make LGBT+ equality a priority in global C-Suites.<\/p>\n
