SRP Asia-Pacific 2022 Awards held in Singapore<\/em><\/p>\n

Bloomberg is proud to announce that is has won the award for \u2018Best Pricing and Risk Analytics Provider\u2019 at this year\u2019s Structured Retail Products Asia-Pacific Awards presented in Singapore. The award recognized our efforts to provide the growing structure products community in the region with solutions that streamline their workflows with reliable data and comprehensive analytics.<\/p>\n

Bloomberg\u2019s Derivatives Library (DLIB), a cross-asset pricing and risk system for structured products, helps investors create, trade, price and risk manage vanilla to complex derivatives. Bloomberg supports structured products players from idea generation to trade capture, pricing and risk, P&L and Greeks, VaR and market risk, XVA, collateral management, SIMM, and PRIIPs.<\/p>\n

In the past year, with the LIBOR transition accelerating the switch to Risk Free Rates (RFR), Bloomberg added support for pricing RFR based structured notes using DLIB functionality. This, combined with new volatility cube based on RFR swaptions and caps in the market, provides client with a seamless transition to RFR based complex derivatives.<\/p>\n

Bloomberg has also developed an innovative approach to speed up VaR calculations without reducing accuracy. Using a method called Virtual Dimensional Reduction (VDR) that is based on the topology (shape) of the pricing function domain, our risk engine can accurately perform VaR calculations with as little as 50 pricing scenarios, significantly increasing calculation speeds when compared to performing a full valuation of 1,000 scenarios.<\/p>\n
