New multi-factor index\u00a0<\/em>utilizes the\u00a0Rockefeller ESG Improvers ScoreTM<\/sup><\/em>\u00a0to provide differentiated ESG factor exposure, offering potential to outperform market-cap weighted indices<\/em><\/p>\n

New York\u00a0\u2013 Bloomberg and Rockefeller Asset Management today announced the launch of the\u00a0Bloomberg Rockefeller U.S. All Cap Multi-Factor ESG Improvers Index, available through the Bloomberg Terminal. The index combines Bloomberg\u2019s renowned risk model, data, and index capabilities with\u00a040 years of ESG expertise from Rockefeller Asset Management. Unlike other ESG indices that emphasize screening around ESG leaders or laggards, this index ranks\u00a0a company’s improvement in performance on material ESG issues relative to industry peers.<\/p>\n

This\u00a0multi-factor index combines the\u00a0Rockefeller ESG Improvers ScoreTM<\/sup>, an uncorrelated and proprietary alpha enhancing factor,\u00a0with\u00a0quality\u00a0and\u00a0low volatility\u00a0factors\u00a0to\u00a0pursue outperformance over traditional market-cap weighted indices with low tracking error and minimal sector or other factor deviations. Another distinctive aspect of the index is that it incorporates shareholder engagement techniques that help create shareholder value and catalyze positive change.<\/p>\n
