Merry Zhang is the Chief Relations Officer for APAC at Bloomberg. In this role, Merry is responsible for driving strategic, impactful, cross-functional initiatives and building a dynamic client engagement strategy that propels Bloomberg’s growth and influence across the entire APAC region. Merry also manages senior-level engagement to ensure Bloomberg remains a trusted partner and a key voice in the financial community.
Merry previously held positions as Bloomberg’s head of APAC Strategic Partnership, head of Market and Product Specialist for China, head of Electronic Trading Solutions for China, and China Analytics team leader.

Leiming Chen
Senior Vice President & Chief Sustainability Officer

Mr. Leiming Chen is a Senior Vice President and the Chief Sustainability Officer of Ant International. Mr. Chen is responsible for Ant International’s strategic development, including public policy and government affairs, strategic partnership and new market expansion. He also leads Ant International’s sustainability initiatives and the formulation and implementation of the sustainable development strategy. Mr. Chen joined Ant Group as a Senior Vice President in March 2016 and served as Ant Group’s General Counsel from March 2016 to May 2020. Prior to joining us, Mr. Chen was a partner at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, a New York-based international law firm where he led the China practice and worked on a variety of equity and debt offerings. He was also responsible for mergers and acquisitions involving PRC companies, including his lead U.S. counsel role in advising Alibaba Group in its initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange in 2014. Mr. Chen has extensive experience in corporate governance and regulatory matters. He is qualified to practice law in the State of New York and is a solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong. Mr. Chen obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University in Toronto, Canada.

Roger Luo

Roger Luo is an accomplished big-data and fintech professional with a decade of experience spanning Hong Kong and Mainland China in AI-driven analytics. As a Senior Data Analyst in the Strategy and Digital Office at The Bank of East Asia (China), he leads the BI applications team, delivering the self-service analytics fabric and a machine-learning-based toolkit, and supporting bank-wide data analysis that drives strategic decisions. Roger also stewards the bank’s fintech incubator, translating start-up innovation into bank-grade solutions. He holds an M.Sc. from Hong Kong Baptist University and several professional certifications.

Sumit Singhal

Sumit Singhal is currently the Chief Information Officer for APACMEA at Barclays. He is responsible for delivering technology solutions to Global IB and PB business in APAC, Middle East & Africa and for managing Markets technology in APAC. He is Manager in Charge for Technology, Cyber and Data in Hong Kong. He has 27 years of experience in technology with last 25 years spent in Investment Banking. He has worked in multiple locations in Asia Pacific, including Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo.
Before joining Barclays in 2010, he spent five years holding various leadership roles at Lehman Brothers and Nomura. Prior to joining Lehman Brothers in 2005, he worked in financial software firms delivering financial solutions to their clients in Japan. He is a strategic leader who foster a collaborative environment while building high performing team to drive the execution and results.

Frazer Lam

Mr. Lam joined the China CITIC Bank International in April 2022 as Chief Information Officer and is responsible for managing information technology functions of the Bank. Mr. Lam is also the Chairman of the Bank’s technology subsidiary CNCBI Digital Intelligence (Shenzhen) Information Technology Limited. He has more than 20 years of experience in the banking and consulting industries, with expertise particularly in application development and FinTech technology. Prior to joining the Bank, Mr. Lam was the General Manager of Technology & Digital Services Department at New World Development Company Limited. Before that, he had held various senior positions such as Deputy General Manager, Information Technology Department of Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited. Mr. Lam is currently the Advisor of Hong Kong Computer Society’s Fintech Specialist Group, taking an active role in promoting the use of FinTech in Hong Kong and providing advice to the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and other stakeholders on FinTech development in Hong Kong. Mr. Lam holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Sarah O

Sarah is a seasoned business leader with over 24 years of diverse background in the financial service industry. Her expertise lies primarily in digital wealth, digital transformation, product management, cards and unsecured lending, client value proposition and client segmentation. Her experience in Singapore, India and Hong Kong provides her with in-depth knowledge of key Asian markets.
At her current role, Sarah’s responsibilities include driving revenue in digital wealth and cards, spearheading the digital banking transformation, commercializing digital content and accelerating client growth through digital channels. She is also responsible for developing and executing Citi’s digital banking strategy, with a focus on delivering intuitive digital banking services and exceptional client experiences.
Before joining Citi, Sarah held positions at Standard Chartered Bank, DBS, Mastercard and UOB.
Sarah holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Honors) with a major in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore.

Ir Eric Chan

Ir Eric Chan is Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology of the UK. Mr. Chan is currently the Chief Public Mission Officer of Hong Kong Cyberport, responsible for building the ecosystem to nurture I&T start-ups and young entrepreneurs for Hong Kong. Mr. Chan is a veteran in the ICT industry and has held senior management positions at MNCs prior to joining Cyberport. Mr. Chan is active in public services, especially in education, industry training, professional bodies and charitable organisations. Mr. Chan is currently the Chairman of Hong Kong Qualifications Framework ICT Industry Training Advisory Committee, Member of the Advisory Committee on Gifted Education of the Education Bureau of the HKSAR Government, Chairman of Knowledge Management Development Center in Hong Kong, member of university advisory committees and IMC member of secondary schools.

Alfian Michael Sharifuddin

Jasmine Lee

Jasmine Lee is the Managing Partner of EY Hong Kong and Macau, overseeing all aspects of business operations in these two locations. Prior to 2022, Jasmine led EY Financial Services practice Chinese In-bound sector service development in Hong Kong and managed numerous significant business transformation efforts for Hong Kong and Macau financial institutions with substantial exposures in the Mainland China market.
Jasmine has more than 25 years of professional work experiences, including 12 years in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. She has acquired deep expertise in working with Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau financial institutions on a wide range of assurance, strategy, and consulting services. She advises senior management executives of leading financial institutions on their business growth and innovation strategies, and offers advice on topics pertaining to strategy, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory development, and operational transformation.
Jasmine is a strong advocate of Hong Kong as an international financial center and advises foreign companies on seizing broader opportunities in the region. She is dedicated to advancing the development of environmental, social and governance (ESG) family offices in Hong Kong, as well as the accelerating and advising on service merging for the better integration of the Greater Bay Area. Jasmine is passionate about sharing her professional insights on various topics at public events and she is a well-sought moderator and panellist for major seminars and conferences.

Dr. Au King-lun, MH, JP, FHKSI (Hon), CFA, PhD

Dr. Au is Executive Director of the Financial Services Development Council (FSDC), which is a high-level, cross-sectoral think tank established by the HKSAR Government for formulating proposals and mapping out the strategic direction for the advancement of the Hong Kong financial services industry.
Prior to joining the FSDC, Dr. Au held top management positions at several prominent global and local financial institutions, where he spearheaded strategic initiatives to drive growth and innovation.
Dr. Au was awarded the Medal of Honor by the HKSAR Government in 2008 for his valuable contribution to the securities and asset management industry. In 2025, he was appointed as a Justice of the Peace by the Chief Executive. He was also named CEO of the Year in Hong Kong by Asia Asset Management in both 2012 and 2014. Previously, he served as Chairman of the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute (HKSI) from 2006 to 2008, and as Chairman of the Hong Kong Investment Funds Association in 2004/2005.
Dr. Au has served on many committees and panels over the years. He is currently a Council member of the Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Public Accountants, an Index Advisory Committee member of China Securities Index Co and Shanghai Stock Exchange, a Board Director of The World Alliance of International Financial Centers, and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Hong Kong among other public duties.
Dr. Au is a CFA Charterholder, an Honorary Fellow of the HKSI. He received his BA in Physics from the University of Oxford and PhD in Theoretical Particle Physics from the University of Durham.

Daniel Tse

Daniel Tse serves as the Managing Director of Futu Securities, responsible for the overall management and operations, especially for the institutional business and prime services. Bringing more than 15 years of experience in financial services, Daniel has been tirelessly promoted, empowered, and secured premium digitised brokerage services to support the local investing circles. Daniel earned a Master of Arts in Global Business Management from the City University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Computer Science from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

John Hsu

Mr. Hsu is HKEX’s Group Chief Technology Officer, overseeing the Group’s IT infrastructure, operations, development and support functions in Hong Kong and Mainland China. He is also a member of the Management Committee at HKEX.
Mr. Hsu previously worked with HSBC, where he was Chief Information Officer Asia Pacific since May 2019. Prior to this he held senior roles at Huawei Technologies, SF Express and Deloitte. He also founded ALA Financial – a company focused on leveraging the power of micro-financing to support young investors and borrowers.
Mr. Hsu has a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley, and an MSc in Information Systems and Management at Carnegie Mellon University in the US.

George Chou
Chief Fintech Officer

George Chou has been appointed as Chief Fintech Officer of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) since September 2023, with responsibilities for facilitating the healthy development of the fintech ecosystem in Hong Kong and promoting Hong Kong as a fintech hub in Asia.
He joined the HKMA in 2009 and had since taken up different positions, including overseeing technology risk management of banks, and licensing and supervision of stored value facilities, before being appointed as Chief Manager of the Financial Infrastructure Development Division in 2022.
Prior to joining the HKMA, Mr. Chou served various roles in the private sector of financial industry for over 10 years. Mr. Chou holds a Bachelor of Computer Science and Engineering degree and a Master of Business System degree from the Monash University, and a Master of Management degree in Financial Management from the Macquarie University.

Charlotte Wong

Charlotte is a seasoned banking and technology professional with over 20 years of extensive experience in the industry. She has successfully held several pivotal leadership roles across different business domain technology teams at global, regional, and market levels.
In her current position as the Chief Information Officer for Hong Kong, Charlotte spearheads initiatives focused on technology resilience and transformation, ensuring that the bank remains at the forefront of innovation. Her commitment to driving diversity and inclusion within the technology sector is truly inspiring. Notably, she serves as a technology advisor for an EdTech start-up in Hong Kong, contributes as an industry advisor for the FutureGen Young Women Leader Award, and chairs the FACE Club, the first IT women’s club under the Hong Kong Computer Society.

Lingling Ma

Ms. Lingling Ma serves as the General Manager of the Financial Technology Department at ICBC (Asia). She has more than 20 years of experience working at ICBC. Ms. Ma possesses extensive expertise in financial technology and large-scale system end-to-end process management. She oversees the technical architecture supporting Retail Banking, Wealth Management, Corporate Institutional Banking, as well as encompassing Technology Management, Programme Delivery, Cyber Security and Technology Risk Controls for Hong Kong cluster.
With over 25 years of dedicated to the financial sector, Ms. Ma has been with ICBC since 2000, progressively holding senior leadership roles across various technology divisions, including Software Development Center, Corporate Client Service and Support Department, and Overseas Office of Technology Department. She has deep expertise in AI applications, software engineering, infrastructure, information security management, and several advanced technology fields. Her rich experience spans digital banking and industrial finance, making her a core leader in advancing ICBC’s technological and operational excellence.

Rose Kay

With over 25 years of banking experience, Rose Kay is currently the Chief Operating Officer and Head of CEO Office at Standard Chartered Bank, Hong Kong. Prior to this, Rose was Head of Local Corporates, where she oversaw the Commercial Banking business covering Large Corporate and Middle Market clients in Hong Kong.
Rose’s expertise extends to global and regional roles as well, having served as the Global Head of China Opening and RMB internationalization, as well as the Head of Greater Bay Area (GBA). In these capacities, Rose played a key role in driving the Bank’s strategic agenda in the Belt and Road Initiatives, GBA and facilitating cross-border solutions as China’s financial markets opened up.
Before joining Standard Chartered Bank, Rose worked in the debt capital market, equity capital market, and convertible bond structuring, executing transactions for numerous Asian corporates and financial institutions.
Rose holds MBA, MSc, LLB, and BEng degrees. She is also an Adjunct Associate Professor of Finance at CUHK and HKUST, where she has been teaching in the EMBA and Master of Finance programs since 2010. Rose is fluent in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Hokkien, and Spanish.

Xu Haohao

As the Head of International Financial Public Affairs at Tencent and Deputy Head of Tencent Financial Research Institute, Ms. Xu oversees the international licensing application for Tencent’s international entities and strategy for licensed entities in the international fintech sector.
Leveraging her deep understanding of Tencent’s international fintech business, she provides strategic recommendations and resource planning for Tencent’s overall international financial business development. She holds an EMBA from the Tsinghua University and is a member of Hong Kong Academy of Finance.

Calvin Ng is the CEO and Executive Director of ZA Bank, Hong Kong’s first digital bank founded by ZA Global, the international arm of ZhongAn Online (HKEX: 6060). As a founding member, Calvin has played a pivotal role in the Bank’s key milestones—from license application and launch to its rise as a leading digital bank. Under his leadership, ZA Bank became Asia’s first licensed bank to offer crypto trading to retail investors, expanding innovative financial services into new areas. Calvin oversees the Bank’s retail business, driving strategy, product development, and growth with a strong focus on user experience and sustainable development. Prior to ZA Bank, he spent 11 years at DBS Bank (Hong Kong), gaining extensive experience in digital banking, cards, payments, and marketing.
