Program FAQ

What is the time commitment to participate in the program?

Candidates need to be able to commit to a four-hour block of time to complete the training.

What does the training involve?

The intensive, one-on-one training is conducted by Burson Cohn & Wolfe. BCW trainers will work with candidates’ individual schedules to identify a time and date.

Is the training conducted in-person or virtually?

Sessions are being conducted in-person. Candidates are given the option to choose a virtual session if they prefer that format, although the majority choose to attend in-person.

Is there a cost for me or my firm to participate?

The training is sponsored by Bloomberg at no cost to candidates who are selected for the program.

What types of applicants are you looking for?

We are primarily looking for senior experts in finance and business as these are the types of guests we typically put on air on Bloomberg Television and Radio. Past participants include CIOs, CFOs, fund managers, economists, research analysts, venture capitalists, macro strategists, buy-side executives and venture capitalists.

I am interested in participating but do not see my city listed. Can I still apply?

We are primarily looking for applicants physically based in the cities where we are forming cohorts. We will take a small number of candidates from nearby cities, depending on availability. Keep checking back as we continue to add new cities.

Am I limited to appearing on Bloomberg after the training, or can I do interviews at other media outlets?

We aim to bring executives on to Bloomberg platforms following the completion of the training, and we encourage them to appear on other media as well.
