Bloomberg Square Mile Relay Singapore – #WERUNTHISCITY

More than 1,600 of Singapore’s fiercest corporate competitors took to the streets of the financial district for the Bloomberg Square Mile Relay. Team Macquarie Bank defended their championship title and won the grand prize of a S$10,000 donation to their favorite charitable cause, Hope House. Macquarie Bank generously matched the donation to support Hope House’s mission of providing shelter and counsel to youths at risk.

Saxo Capital Markets and Barclays came in second and third place, respectively. And Bloomberg’s own Melvin Wong claimed the title of fastest individual, with a time of 4:24:33, beating last year’s fastest runner from Morgan Stanley by 2/10th of a second.

The Bloomberg Square Mile Relay is the ultimate corporate running race, where teams of 10 compete in a relay format. The race brings the business and financial community together in a spirit of friendly competition

“This is a fantastic event and it’s great that Bloomberg brought it back to Singapore for another year. We had a lot of fun competing and catching up with our industry friends.
