CAMAHK and Bloomberg Reveal Winners of Fifth Annual Offshore China Fund Awards

Hong Kong – Bloomberg and the China Asset Management Association of Hong Kong (CAMAHK) are proud to announce the winners of the fifth annual Offshore China Fund Awards in Hong Kong. More than 200 leading Chinese asset managers and industry leaders attended an exclusive luncheon where a total of 34 awards were distributed to firms for their performance and contributions to China’s offshore fund industry. The award rankings were calculated using proprietary methodologies from data provided compiled by Bloomberg.
Keynote speeches were delivered by James Henry Lau Jr, JP, Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury and Christina Choi, Executive Director, Securities and Futures Commission Investment Products Division. The luncheon was also attended by Joseph Chan, JP, Under Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury and Christopher Hui, Executive Director, The Financial Services Development Council.
Christina Choi, Executive Director of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission Investment Products Division, noted, “Chinese fund managers have made invaluable contributions to the asset management industry in Hong Kong. The further opening up of Mainland China and Hong Kong’s increased integration in the Greater Bay Area will bring more opportunities for the fund industry and Chinese fund managers are well positioned to leverage on them in this new decade.”
Chairperson of CAMAHK, Madam Chen Ding commented, “As we enter our fifth year of hosting these prestigious awards with Bloomberg, we are delighted to see this community reaching new heights.
