March 27, 2023

Bloomberg is proud to announce that it has won Best Pricing and Risk Analytics Provider at the 2023 Structured Retail Products (SRP) Europe Awards.

The SRP awards recognize standout offerings within the structured products industry. This award gives a nod to Bloomberg’s structured products solution, driven predominantly by Bloomberg’s Derivatives Library (DLIB). This marks Bloomberg’s sixth win in this category in the last eight years across the Americas, Asia Pacific and Europe.

Bloomberg’s offering, DLIB, is part of Bloomberg’s Multi-Asset Risk System (MARS), which provides a suite of risk management tools designed to supply clients with a seamless end-to-end workflow. Fueled by DLIB’s robust pricing library, clients are able to make efficient, informed decisions in managing and mitigating risk.

DLIB plays an integral role for market participants on all sides of structured products, empowering clients with the necessary tools to succeed. By providing a wide selection of structured products and customizable scenarios and back-testing tools, clients have the ability to choose investment products that best fits their risk and return profile. With the transparency that DLIB provides through extensive market data, users can structure, save and share deals, portfolios and ideas. DLIB also offers resources to comply with regulatory obligations.

“We are honored to receive the Best Pricing and Risk Analytics Provider award because it not only recognizes our accomplishments in innovation, but it speaks to our unwavering efforts to meet the evolving needs of our clients,” said Chase van der Rhoer, Head of Structured Products & Derivatives Pricing at Bloomberg. “In addition to supplying market-leading pricing and risk analytics that can be tailored to client demand, Bloomberg offers clients an array of customizable options to ensure compliance with their respective national regulators, including support for the transition to risk-free rates and Packaged Retail & Insurance-based Investment Products (PRIIPs) regulation.”
