Bloomberg Wins Best Enterprise Data Management Initiative at the WatersTechnology Inside Market Data & Inside Reference Data Awards 2024

Bloomberg is honored to announce its data management solution, Data License Plus (DL+), has been selected as the winner of the Best Enterprise Data Management Initiative category award at the WatersTechnology Inside Market Data & Inside Reference Data Awards 2024.

Bloomberg’s DL+ solution acquires, aggregates, organizes and links a customer’s Bloomberg Data License (DL) data from multiple delivery channels and multi-vendor and custom ESG content into a single Unified Data Model. 

DL+ enables customers to deliver consistent data to their critical workflows through a diverse set of collection and publication technologies, including managed deliveries to cloud data warehouses. With access to consistent data in a singular data fabric, customers can accelerate their Target Operating Model (TOM) projects and meet the unique requirements of their specific organization’s objectives while maintaining transparency, consistency, efficiency and scalability.

Bloomberg DL content spans reference, ESG, pricing, risk, regulation, fundamentals, estimates and history data covering more than 70 million securities and 40,000 data fields. The content is available via Per Security acquisition or through the purchase of Bulk datasets.

The annual Inside Market Data & Inside Reference Data Awards, unveiled in 2004, recognize initiatives, innovation, technology and services across the market and reference data domains, including ESG and alternative data, corporate actions data, data analytics, evaluated pricing data, research, data management tools and managed data services.

Bloomberg also took home a win for Best Alternative Data Initiative in this year’s awards.
