Bloomberg Joins More Than 250 News Outlets in Covering Climate Now, Launching Today

September 16, 2019

Bloomberg is highlighting special coverage on the climate crisis across multiple platforms as part of the Covering Climate Now initiative, which launches today. Bloomberg is one of more than 250 news outlets committed to climate coverage for a full week leading up the United Nations Climate Action Summit in New York on Sept. 23.

Bloomberg is publishing this special content on the Bloomberg Terminal, Bloomberg.com, Bloomberg TV and Radio, TicToc, social media and more. Global coverage will include data-driven stories and graphics (e.g., “What’s Behind the World’s Biggest Climate Victory? Capitalism,” published today), as well as reporting from Bloomberg’s energy, finance, and global business teams. There will also be dedicated TV and radio segments, such as this interview with EU Climate and Energy Commissioner Miguel Arias CaƱete, airing throughout the week.

Follow Bloomberg’s ongoing climate coverage here and on social media and at @business and @tictoc with the #CoveringClimateNow hashtag.

Covering Climate Now was co-founded by Columbia Journalism Review and The Nation. Read more about the initiative here.
