Bloomberg for Education Wins Tech & Learning Award for Excellence in Higher Education For Second Year

June 11, 2025

Bloomberg was also recognized as a winner in Secondary Education for the first time, highlighting work with secondary schools covering grades 6-12.

Bloomberg for Education (BFE) has been named a winner at the Tech & Learning Awards of Excellence: Best of 2024 in the Higher Education and Secondary Education categories. Bloomberg was awarded for its expansive suite of immersive education technology services provided through Bloomberg Finance Labs, supporting multiple educational groups on a global scale. The awards recognize providers of ed-tech that empower teachers and students in innovative ways, ranging from primary school to higher education.

Bloomberg for Education has achieved the Secondary Education win for the first time in recognition of its continued work with championing secondary schools and its students. Bloomberg for Education’s receipt of the Higher Education designation for a second year is a testament to its industry-leading tools and services. Each nomination was scored by Tech & Learning’s panel of expert judges on ease of use, value, versatility, and utility.

Bloomberg for Education was also recently named a finalist in the “Professional Development Learning Solution” category of the EdTech Awards 2025. The US-based awards program is the world’s largest recognition program for education technology, recognizing the biggest names in ed-tech. This placement was accompanied by acknowledgment of the BFE offering as “Best Financial Education Solution” in their “Cool Tool” category.

“Bloomberg is committed to providing students, whether a freshman in high school or a senior in college preparing for the job hunt, with access to crucial experiential learning opportunities and resources. The earlier that students have exposure to technology and information, the better prepared they will be to tackle the next step in their journey,” said Emily Perrucci, Bloomberg Global Head of User Support. “We’re pleased to be recognized for our work in secondary education, and again in higher education, affirming our efforts to provide experiential learning opportunities for students.”

Through Bloomberg for Education, students can engage with the Bloomberg Terminal, immersing them directly into the financial markets and providing research and analytics across multiple industries. Students can also access the Bloomberg for Education Portal, featuring a library of CPD-accredited online certificate courses, interactive simulations, webinars and Bloomberg Toolkits – resources for teaching with the Bloomberg Terminal. From colleges and universities down to secondary schools, learning institutions are increasingly establishing on-campus Bloomberg Finance Labs, using these offerings and participating in the experiential learning opportunities Bloomberg for Education has made available to students.
