Bloomberg Celebrates New Office in Los Angeles

November 17, 2015

Twenty-five years ago, Bloomberg published its first news story and 18 years ago we opened our first Los Angeles bureau. Today, Los Angeles is home to one of the largest US exports – the entertainment industry – and is a unique cross section of commerce, technology and politics.  Having a presence there gives us greater access to the broader LA community as well as our Terminal clients. As Southern California continues its growth and influence, it only seemed fitting to expand our coverage and engagement in the area.

Our brand new space in Century City is a testament to this commitment. Designed by local architecture firm Shimoda Design Group, the office aligns with the Bloomberg ethos of being open to foster transparency, greater communication and collaboration.

At the recent unveiling party of the new office, attended by over 150 business, media and entertainment influencers, Editor-in-Chief John Micklethwait stated, “As I look around this room, there is enormous optimism about where Bloomberg is and the way in which we’ve grown.”
