Bloomberg BQuant Wins Best AI Solution for Historical Data Analysis in the A-Team Group’s inaugural AI in Capital Markets Awards 2025

Bloomberg’s BQuant analytics platform has been named Best AI Solution for Historical Data Analysis in the A-Team Group’s inaugural AI in Capital Markets Awards 2025. This award category recognizes the AI-powered system that excels in extracting actionable intelligence from vast historical datasets, enabling backtesting, strategy refinement, and market trend analysis.

BQuant is a suite of advanced, off-the-shelf data science solutions designed specifically for financial markets. By offering operation-ready access to Bloomberg’s comprehensive range of multi-asset-class financial and alternative data and analytics, BQuant helps Bloomberg’s customers incorporate quantitative approaches in their investment processes.

Since they no longer need to spend time extracting, normalizing and managing thousands of raw data points, users can instead focus on interpreting the results of their data analysis and implementing them in their investment strategies.

BQuant Enterprise is a fully managed, cloud-based analytics platform that enables financial institutions to scale investment workflows with advanced compute power, broad access to Bloomberg data, integration with their own internal systems, and seamless collaboration. Designed for rapid development, workflow automation, and deployment, BQuant Enterprise empowers teams to get to market faster with greater operational agility and innovation. Firms can also add a Textual Analytics Add-on package to analyze Bloomberg News using Bloomberg’s pre-trained and configurable natural language processing (NLP) models and additional advanced compute – including GPUs – to create custom classifications, sentiment scores, and summarizations in order to develop financial insights for their alpha generation workflows.
