Comprehensive medical insurance

Our employer provided comprehensive medical plan provided through CIGNA supports our employees and dependents with in-hospital and outpatient expenses with general physicians and specialists from your first day of employment. Coverage is provided up to USD 1 million per year for inpatient and outpatient services.

Telehealth

Connect to telemedicine service for 24/7 access to clinical healthcare for you and your dependents. Doctors can diagnose, recommend treatment and prescribe medication for common ailments.

Dental plan

Dental coverage is provided up to USD 1,000 per person per year. Basic services, such as general dental preventative services are covered in full, with partial coverage for major restorative and orthodontic care, depending on the treatment.

Vision care plan

Our Vision care plan provides coverage for eye exams; optical prescriptions and appliances (i.e., glasses and contact lenses) are covered up to a certain limit.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Bloomberg employees and their dependents have access to confidential, short-term (up to nine visits) counseling; referral services are available to assist you and your family in working through problems, learning about available options, and finding solutions. Areas covered include marital difficulties, financial concerns, stress, anxiety, and other areas that may affect mental health.

Emergency medical & security evacuation

As a Bloomberg employee, if you experience a business or personal travel-related emergency outside of your country of domicile or while on a short-term overseas assignment, emergency services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to help.

Ergonomics

A program is available to provide you with the knowledge, resources and tools needed for a safe and comfortable work environment. You have access to an online risk assessment as well as virtual or on-site desk assessments by a certified ergonomist. Support for special equipment can be provided based on individual ergonomic needs.

Finance

CPF savings plan

To help support your retirement savings, Bloomberg makes Central Provident Fund (CPF) contributions to the CPF accounts of all Singaporeans and Permanent Residents.

Supplementary Retirement Scheme (SRS)

For eligible employees who make contributions to their retirement funds, Bloomberg will match a portion of those contributions, subject to a cap, in our Global Offshore Retirement Plan where you can invest to grow your retirement funds.

Life insurance

Bloomberg provides basic life insurance coverage for all employees at 3x annual base salary (at a capped level). Life insurance covers you against death and total permanent disability due to any cause.

Accidental death & dismemberment insurance (AD&D)

AD&D insurance covers you if you lose a limb or become permanently disabled as a direct result of an accident. Bloomberg employees are automatically insured for up to 3x annual base salary at no additional cost.

Long-term disability insurance (LTD)

LTD offers a wage replacement if you become totally disabled and cannot perform your duties or engage in an occupation due to illness, injury or accident.

Well-being rewards

We offer reimbursement of up to a certain percentage for eligible well-being-related expenses, up to an annual maximum. Eligible expenses include gym fees, group activities and exercise classes.

Tuition reimbursements

In addition to providing on-the-job training, courses and programs, Bloomberg offers a tuition reimbursement program of up to USD 12,000 per calendar year for all job and business-related courses, including certifications.

Family and life

Time off

Bloomberg offers 20 paid time-off days each year. We also provide leaves of absence to address a variety of personal situations, including family and medical emergencies, jury duty and more.

Adoption & surrogacy assistance

Reimbursement is available for eligible adoption-related costs.

Fertility support

Through our healthcare plan, Bloomberg offers a lifetime benefit of USD 20,000 for coverage of fertility treatments and in vitro fertilization.

Parental leave

Bloomberg offers up to 26 weeks of 100% paid, gender-neutral, parental leave for the primary caregiver to bond and care for your newborn, surrogate, or adopted child from day one. Employees are also eligible to apply for unpaid parental leave in line with Government guidelines.

Non-primary caregivers are eligible for 4 weeks of 100% paid leave.

Maternity support program

Your CIGNA medical plan covers 90% of all maternity-related expenses, including childbirth, prenatal and postnatal exams. Bloomberg provides access to mother’s room facilities equipped with a sink, refrigerator, and other amenities.

Parental support program

Our program provides support for parents and those with care-giving responsibilities, offering dedicated individual sessions to help the transition to parenthood or in navigating other challenges. We also offer a robust transition plan for parents returning to the workplace and an internal buddy program with existing Bloomberg employees and parents.
