Bloomberg View Announces New Editorial Hires, Global Expansion

Megan Greene Contributing Columns from Europe; Matthew C. Klein
Joins Full-Time

NEW YORK — Bloomberg View today announced the expansion of its
editorial board in the U.S. and Asia, and the addition of new
columnists and a full-time writer for its blog, The Ticker.

New members of the View editorial board are current View
columnist Clive Crook and Nisid Hajari, former Managing Editor
and former Foreign Editor of Newsweek who will be based in
Singapore. Matthew C. Klein, who previously wrote for The
Economist, will write blog posts for Bloomberg View.

Joining View as a columnist is Lanhee J. Chen, former chief
policy director for Mitt Romney’s 2012 presidential campaign.
Megan Greene, former director of European economic research at
Roubini Global Economics, is contributing columns from Europe.

The new additions to Bloomberg View are:

-Clive Crook, a former columnist at the Financial Times and
former deputy editor of The Economist, brings to the Editorial
Board decades of expertise in global finance, economics and
politics.

-Nisid Hajari brings to the Editorial Board years of expertise
covering Asia. He held numerous positions at Newsweek, including
Managing Editor, Foreign Editor and Managing Editor of Newsweek
International and was previously an editor and writer for TIME
magazine, based in Hong Kong.

-Matthew C. Klein has joined Bloomberg View as a blogger,
bringing to the site a sophisticated take on the economy and
financial markets. Klein, who previously wrote for The Economist
about economics and finance, will also contribute editorials to
Bloomberg View.

-Lanhee J. Chen, who joins Bloomberg View as a columnist focused
on policy and politics, is a research fellow at the Hoover
Institution and teaches public policy at Stanford University. In
2012, he was chief policy director for Mitt Romney’s
presidential campaign.

-Megan Greene contributes columns on European economics from
Europe. She is the chief economist at Maverick Intelligence, a
global consulting firm, and is a senior fellow at the Atlantic
Council in Washington D.C.
