Bloomberg Partners with Bulgaria ON AIR to Launch Bloomberg TV Bulgaria

Sofia, Bulgaria — Bloomberg L.P. and Bulgaria ON AIR today announce a long-term agreement to launch a new Bulgarian-language business news service. Bloomberg TV Bulgaria is scheduled to launch imminently and the channel will be available on all major cable and satellite networks across the country, with content focusing on in-depth coverage of Bulgaria’s business and economic development.

“The launch of Bloomberg TV Bulgaria is a major milestone for Bulgaria ON AIR and the wider Investor Media Group, adding a standalone premium business channel to our portfolio of dedicated financial websites. Information is crucial for all businesses. Nikolina Dimitrova, Head of Programming of Bulgaria ON AIR and Georgi Biserinski, Executive Director of Investor Media Group will serve as Executive Directors of Bloomberg TV Bulgaria. Jeff Green, Executive Producer, Bloomberg Television has been appointed to work alongside the team from Bulgaria ON AIR to assist in the production of the channel’s economic and business coverage.

The launch comes after more than two years of successful cooperation between Bulgaria ON AIR and global business and financial news and information leader Bloomberg Media, under a content agreement which saw Bloomberg Television serving as the primary provider of business and financial news content for Bulgaria ON AIR.
